Social Scene
Our people tell us that one of the best things about working for Beca is our lively social scene. You’ll find it easy to meet other graduates and Beca people and there’s something happening to suit everyone. From movie nights, to after work drinks, paintball, horse riding, boating or bowling, we do it all. You could also join one of the Beca-supported sports teams, which currently include dragon boating, touch rugby, netball, triathlon, and teams for the Corporate Games.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. You can be as active and involved as you want to be.
Social Responsibility
There is so much more to Beca than simply advising on projects and building the bottom line. Beca takes an active interest in its local and wider community, from charity sponsorships to guest lecturers at universities. We have a dedicated Environmental Committee and regularly participate in fundraising events for various charities. Beca also promotes positive initiatives towards sustainability, completes pro bono work, and our staff fundraise for their chosen charities.
Cleaner production is a philosophy that is assuming growing importance. Our engineers and graduates are involved in projects that help clients implement technologies to help reduce waste generation - a win for both the environment in terms of reduced discharge, and for our clients in terms of waste handling costs.
